If you enjoy seafood..this is the place for you. They had fresh crab legs, clams, oysters, and all types of other stuff. My favorite was the stuffed oysters. Also, their prime rib melts in your mouth and the devil crab is to die for. The service was extremely attentive and friendly. The waitress would come frequently and refill me with their refreshing ice tea. The food was displayed extremely nicely and impressively. The atmosphere if very nice and true to the "Captain's" sailor theme. The desert section of the restaurant was okay. I really liked the peanut butter concoction they had though. It is a bit overpriced..but they're food is 1st class quality. I do not recommended this place if people are looking for an average All American buffet for a cheap price. This restaurant will be appreciate by people who enjoy the finer foods.

Pros: Quality food

Cons: A bit on the pricy side

NOT WORTH THE PRICE!!!

My husband and my three kids all agreed that this place was terrible. It was not at all like some of the wonderful seafood restaurants and buffets we've tried in Myrtle Beach. If you are a fan of Ponderosa or Shoney's buffets, you might like this, but it is not at all what we were expecting. Our service was terrible...never refilled drinks or asked if we needed anything. They never gave us menus when we sat down, just told us the price of the buffet ($25 adults, $13 children 4 & over) and sent us on our way. There was nothing on the buffet for kids (ie. chicken nuggets, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes...) My kids cried because there was nothing they liked. I finally caught our waitress, and asked them to take the kids buffet off our check because my kids ate NOTHING. That's when she told me they had a separate menu if you didn't want the buffet. We ordered cheeseburgers for the kids. They still charged us for the buffet plus the cheeseburgers. Quite a bit of the food was empty on the buffet. A lot of it was cold or soggy. They didn't have "real" shrimp, only that minced popcorn type. The only plus, they had lots of crab legs, and kept them hot and plentiful. But with three kids under seven years old, I didn't get to enjoy too many of those. We were very disappointed and walked out with a $100 bill.

Pros: The place was empty, everyone must know something we didn't.

Cons: Everything else.

A bit more expensive,

Bring the coupon and go early to save a few bucks. Food is quite good and service is excellent. The place seemed a bit empty during our October visit.... maybe just a slow time of year.
